Ingredients

  • 1 c. margarine
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 1 Tbsp. almond extract
  • 4 c. flour
  • 1 Tbsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Combine margarine, sugar, eggs, vanilla, and almond extract. Beat until creamy.
  3. Add flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix well.
  4. Allow dough to sit covered on the counter for a couple of hours for best flavor.
  5. Roll out dough on a floured surface.
  6. Cut out cookies with cutters or inverted glass or small bowl.
  7. Spray cookie sheets with nonstick spray.
  8. Bake cookies for 6 to 10 minutes, depending on thickness.
  9. Frost with icing once cooled.
