Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 1/2 c. fruit (peaches, berries, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Cover the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch baking dish with fruit.
  2. Pour the batter over the fruit.
  3. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 35 to 40 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  4. Serve warm or cold.
