Ingredients

  • 1/2 loaf stale bread or bread cubes
  • heated milk
  • 1 grated carrot
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 stalks celery, finely chopped
  • 1 lb pork sausage (fresh, unseasoned)
  • 1 egg, beaten

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients well in a buttered baking dish.
  2. Bake in a slow oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
  3. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
