Ingredients

  • 1 lb squash
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 cup grated cheese
  • 8 Ritz crackers
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 stick margarine

Instructions

  1. Cook squash and chopped onion until done.
  2. Drain and mash the cooked squash and onion mixture.
  3. Add grated cheese and margarine to the hot mixture and stir until melted.
  4. Add egg, milk, Ritz crackers, salt, and pepper; mix well.
  5. Pour the mixture into a buttered dish.
  6. Bake at 350°F until brown, about 25 to 30 minutes.
