Ingredients

  • crust for 1 (9-inch) pie
  • 1 Tbsp butter, cut into small pieces
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 Tbsp flour
  • 2 cups milk or half and half
  • nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Make crust for a 9-inch pie.
  2. Put small pieces of butter in the pie shell.
  3. Mix together sugar and flour.
  4. Beat in milk or half and half into the sugar and flour mixture.
  5. Pour the mixture into the pie shell.
  6. Sprinkle nutmeg on top of the filling.
  7. Bake at 350°F for 40 minutes.
