Ingredients

  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 1/3 c. coconut
  • 1 c. chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Cream margarine, sugar, and cocoa together until smooth.
  2. Add eggs and vanilla, mixing until well incorporated.
  3. Gradually add flour, then stir in coconut and chopped pecans.
  4. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
  5. Pour the batter into a floured and greased 9 x 12-inch pan.
  6. Bake in a preheated 350° oven for 30 minutes.
  7. Once baked, pour a jar of marshmallow cream over the cake and top with frosting.
