Ingredients

  • 8 oz. Monterey Jack shredded cheese
  • 8 oz. Monterey Jack cheese with jalapenos
  • 2 c. Miracle Whip salad dressing
  • 2 sticks margarine, softened
  • 2 bunches chopped green onions
  • garlic powder to taste
  • black pepper to taste
  • 1 loaf French bread

Instructions

  1. Combine shredded Monterey Jack cheese, Monterey Jack cheese with jalapenos, Miracle Whip salad dressing, softened margarine, chopped green onions, garlic powder, and black pepper; mix thoroughly.
  2. Split the French bread loaf lengthwise; spread the cheese mixture evenly on the cut surface of both halves.
  3. Place the bread on a cookie sheet and bake at 400°F until bubbly and slightly brown, about 15 minutes.
  4. Remove from oven and cut into serving pieces.
  5. Serve hot.
