Morcon (Stuffed Steak)
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb. sirloin steak, cut 1/4-inch thick ⓘ
- 1/4 c. vinegar ⓘ
- 2 cloves garlic, minced ⓘ
- 3/4 tsp. pepper (black) ⓘ
- 1/2 lb. ham, cut into julienne strips ⓘ
- 2 sliced sausages (pepperoni or chorizo) ⓘ
- 2 hard-cooked eggs, sliced ⓘ
- 1/2 c. chopped green olives ⓘ
- 1 c. oil ⓘ
- 1 c. chopped onions ⓘ
- 1 bay leaf ⓘ
- 2 c. water
- 1 c. tomato sauce ⓘ
- 2 tsp. salt ⓘ
- 2 tomatoes, diced ⓘ
Instructions
- Pound steak as thin as possible between wax paper.
- Marinate in vinegar, mixed with garlic and black pepper for 30 minutes; reserve marinade.
