Ingredients

  • 1 package Pillsbury Plus fudge marble cake mix
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/3 cup oil
  • 1/4 cup chopped cherries
  • 1/4 teaspoon red food coloring
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Prepare the cake mix using eggs, water, and oil as directed on the package.
  2. Reserve 2 cups of yellow batter.
  3. Pour the remaining yellow batter into a prepared 10-inch tube pan.
  4. Combine 1 cup of the reserved batter, chopped cherries, and red food coloring.
  5. Spoon this cherry batter over the yellow batter in the pan.
  6. Mix the remaining yellow batter with the marble pouch, chocolate chips, and 2 tablespoons of water.
  7. Spoon this mixture over the batter in the pan.
  8. Swirl the batter in the pan to create a marble effect.
  9. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 35 to 45 minutes until done.
