Ingredients

  • 6 to 7 yellow summer squash
  • 1/2 stick butter or margarine
  • 1 medium onion
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • couple eggs
  • bread crumbs

Instructions

  1. Wash and cut off the ends of the squash.
  2. Slice the squash and boil along with chopped onion for about 30 to 45 minutes until tender; strain.
  3. Put the cooked squash and onions in a mixing bowl.
  4. Add butter, salt and pepper, beaten eggs, bread crumbs, and a dash of Worcestershire sauce; mix well.
  5. Pour the mixture into a casserole dish and bake at 350°F for 30 minutes.
