Ingredients
- 28 oz. can tomato puree or crushed tomatoes ⓘ
- 16 oz. can whole tomatoes, chopped or fresh peeled and chopped ⓘ
- 8 oz. can tomato sauce ⓘ
- 4 to 6 Tbsp. white vinegar ⓘ
- 16 oz. can black olives, chopped ⓘ
- 2 cans green chilies ⓘ
- 1 bunch green onions, chopped ⓘ
- Tabasco sauce
- salt
- pepper ⓘ
- garlic ⓘ
- 1 can hot jalapenos (optional for extra heat) ⓘ
Instructions
- Chop all ingredients that need to be chopped.
- In a large, plastic or glass bowl, combine all ingredients except salt, pepper, garlic, and Tabasco.
- Stir well to mix everything thoroughly.
- Add salt, pepper, garlic, and Tabasco to taste, adjusting for desired flavor and heat.
- Taste with a tortilla chip to ensure the seasoning is right.
- Serve with lots of tortilla chips and enjoy.
- Keeps well for one month in a tightly sealed jar.
