Ingredients

  • 1 lb. baking dates
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 2 1/2 cups rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup coconut
  • 3/4 cup chopped walnuts

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, cook dates, margarine, and honey until thick and blended.
  2. Remove from heat and add vanilla, rolled oats, coconut, and chopped walnuts.
  3. Press the mixture into an 8 x 8-inch greased pan.
  4. Let cool, then store in an airtight container.
