Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg or substitute
  • 1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple
  • 12 oz. whipped topping

Instructions

  1. Combine melted butter and sugar in a mixer bowl; mix well.
  2. Beat in the egg or egg substitute.
  3. Fold in undrained crushed pineapple and whipped topping.
  4. Arrange one layer of vanilla wafers in a 9 x 13-inch dish.
  5. Spread the pineapple mixture evenly over the wafers.
  6. Crush the remaining vanilla wafers and sprinkle over the top of the dessert.
  7. Chill overnight before serving.
