Ingredients

  • 5 lb. potatoes
  • 4 onions
  • 2 sticks of butter
  • 4 pieces of white bread without crust
  • 1 pkg. summer savory
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil the potatoes until tender, then mash them with the butter.
  2. Add chopped onions, salt, pepper, broken-up bread, and summer savory to the mashed potatoes.
  3. Use the stuffing to stuff a turkey.
  4. Any remaining stuffing can be placed in a casserole dish and baked at 350°F for 1 hour.
