Ingredients

  • 2 tsp. liquid sweetener
  • 1 tsp. orange juice
  • 1 c. sifted flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. grated orange rind

Instructions

  1. Mix liquid sweetener with orange juice.
  2. Cream butter with the orange juice mixture.
  3. Add sifted flour, baking powder, vanilla, chopped walnuts, and grated orange rind to the mixture.
  4. Form the dough into a roll; wrap in foil or wax paper.
  5. Chill the rolled dough in the refrigerator.
  6. Slice the chilled dough into cookies and place on an ungreased cookie sheet.
  7. Bake in a 375°F (190°C) oven for 12 to 15 minutes.
