Ingredients

  • 1 c. nuts, finely ground
  • 1/2 c. honey
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 well-beaten egg
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp. grated lemon rind
  • dash of salt
  • 2 oz. milk chocolate (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine nuts, honey, and butter and stir over low heat for 3 minutes or until thickened and boiling.
  2. Add beaten egg, lemon juice, lemon rind, and salt; cook slowly for 1 minute longer.
  3. When cool, spread over dough that has been brushed with beaten egg.
