Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Karo syrup
  • 1/2 cup condensed milk
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
  • 6 slices bread

Instructions

  1. Mix Karo syrup and condensed milk together.
  2. Cut the crust from the bread and slice each slice into 3 or 4 pieces.
  3. Freeze the bread or use old bread for easier handling.
  4. Dip each bread strip into the syrup mixture, then roll in chopped nuts.
  5. Bake in a 325°F oven for about 15 minutes until golden.
