Nutty Noodle Crunch offers a sweet and salty combination of toasted almonds, raisins, and crunchy chow mein noodles, perfect for snacking or gifting at parties.

Ingredients

  • 5 oz. can Chun King chow mein noodles
  • 1/2 cup Del Monte seedless raisins
  • 1/2 cup peanuts
  • 1/2 cup toasted whole natural almonds
  • 1/2 cup large flaked coconut
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Combine noodles, raisins, peanuts, almonds, and coconut in a large bowl.
  2. In a saucepan, heat butter and honey to boiling, then remove from heat.
  3. Stir in vanilla extract into the butter and honey mixture.
  4. Pour the hot mixture over the noodle mixture and toss to coat evenly.
  5. Spread the mixture in a 10 x 15-inch baking pan.
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  7. Loosen from pan and let cool completely.
  8. Store in an airtight container.
