Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup dark corn syrup
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup uncooked oatmeal
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup pecans
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup coconut
  • 1 (9-inch) pie shell

Instructions

  1. Mix dark corn syrup, sugar, oatmeal, coconut, eggs, salt, butter, and pecans together in a bowl.
  2. Pour the mixture into the unbaked pie shell.
  3. Bake until the filling is set and golden, approximately 45 minutes.
  4. Allow to cool before serving.
