Ingredients

  • 1 c. softened butter
  • 2/3 c. brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
  • 2/3 c. quick oats

Instructions

  1. Cream butter and brown sugar together until well combined.
  2. Add whole wheat flour and quick oats; mix until evenly incorporated.
  3. Press the mixture firmly and evenly into a lightly buttered 10 x 14-inch cookie sheet.
  4. Bake at 300°F (150°C) for 20 to 30 minutes until lightly browned.
  5. Cut into squares immediately after baking and cool in the pan.
