- Combine brown sugar, butter, water, salt, cloves, and nutmeg. Bring to a boil and cook for 5 minutes to make the glaze.
- Pour the hot glaze over the arranged sweet potatoes.
- Bake for 50 minutes, basting occasionally with the glaze.
