Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup oleo or butter
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon soda
  • 1 cup buttermilk

Instructions

  1. Mix the flour, brown sugar, oleo or butter, cinnamon, and salt, then take out 1 cup of crumbs for topping.
  2. Add eggs, soda, and buttermilk to the remaining crumb mixture and mix well.
  3. Pour the batter into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
  4. Sprinkle the reserved 1 cup of crumbs on top of the batter.
  5. Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes.
