Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 sticks (8 oz.) butter or margarine
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups (12 oz.) chopped Nestle Crunch candy bars

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a small bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, beat together butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, vanilla, and root beer until well blended.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  5. If the dough is too runny, gradually add more flour little by little until the desired consistency is reached.
  6. Gradually beat in the dry ingredients until just combined.
  7. Stir in chopped Nestle Crunch candy bars.
  8. Drop by tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  9. Bake for about 10 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Allow cookies to cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet before transferring to racks to cool completely.
