Ingredients

  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup sugar

  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

  • 2 2/3 cups milk

Instructions

  2. Pour the mixture into a 9-inch unbaked pie crust.
  3. Bake in a 450°F oven for 15 minutes.
  4. Reduce the temperature to 350°F and continue baking for about 25-30 minutes, or until a knife inserted into the side of the filling comes out clean.
  5. Center will be soft but will set later as it cools.
