- Boil the whole fryer chicken until tender.
- Debone the cooked chicken.
- Keep the chicken broth in the cooker on top of the stove.
- Add all ingredients: deboned chicken, chopped onion, celery, sage, cornbread, bread slices, and eggs into the broth.
- Let the mixture cook for about 5 minutes.
- Transfer the mixture to an ovenproof dish and bake for 30 to 40 minutes.
