Ingredients

  • 12 large manicotti shells
  • 4 cups shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cups Ricotta cheese
  • 6 tablespoons fresh basil
  • 26 ounces jar spaghetti sauce
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray a 13 x 9-inch baking pan with cooking spray.
  2. Cook the manicotti shells until al dente, then drain and rinse.
  3. In a medium bowl, mix 3 cups of shredded Mozzarella cheese, ricotta cheese, and chopped fresh basil.
  4. Using a teaspoon, stuff each cooked shell with the cheese mixture.
  5. Pour 2 cups of spaghetti sauce into the prepared baking pan.
  6. Arrange the stuffed shells over the sauce in the pan.
  7. Pour the remaining spaghetti sauce over the shells.
  8. Sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of Mozzarella cheese on top.
  9. Bake for 15 minutes, then remove from oven.
  10. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
