Olive Meatloaf
Ingredients
- 1 cup dry bread crumbs ⓘ
- 1 cup milk ⓘ
- 1/4 teaspoon fresh ground pepper ⓘ
- 1/3 cup chopped yellow onion ⓘ
- 4 cloves pressed garlic ⓘ
- 2 eggs extra large ⓘ
- 1 pound ground beef ⓘ
- 1 pound pork sausage or ground pork ⓘ
- 16 ounce pimento stuffed olived drained, rinsed and roughly chopped (10 oz dw) ⓘ
- 1 cup chopped celery ⓘ
- 1/4 cup melted butter ⓘ
- 2/3 cup chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce ⓘ
- 2 tablespoons water ⓘ
Instructions
- combine and mix bread crumbs, milk, pepper, onion, garlic, and eggs
- combine sausage/ground pork and beef and kneed. mix in olives and sausage.
- mix meets and bread crumb mix. mold into loaf pans to withing 3/4 inch of top.
- combine butter, chili sauce, water and worcestershire. and cover top of loaves
- bake in preheated oven at 375 for 1 hour and 15 min.
