Ingredients

  • 1 lb. lean hamburger
  • 2 cups diced potatoes, cooked 1/2 done
  • 16 oz. can green peas
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1/2 can water from peas

Instructions

  1. Brown the hamburger and chopped onion in a skillet.
  2. Layer the cooked, half-done diced potatoes in a greased 2-quart casserole dish.
  3. Add a layer of green peas over the potatoes.
  4. Repeat layering with the meat mixture, potatoes, and peas as desired.
  5. Top the casserole with diluted tomato soup.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Bake at 350°F for 45 to 50 minutes until heated through and bubbly.
