Ingredients

  • 4 loin pork chops (1/2-inch thick)
  • 1 small can tomato sauce
  • 1 can water
  • 1 small can peas
  • 1/2 cup sliced carrots
  • 1/2 cup sliced potatoes
  • 1/2 cup sliced onion

Instructions

  1. Bring all vegetables, except peas, to a boil and cook until done.
  2. Preheat oven to 400°F and brown the pork chops in the oven.
  3. Drain the vegetables and place them in the oven with the pork chops.
  4. Add tomato sauce, water, oregano, salt, pepper, and garlic; stir to cover all ingredients with sauce.
  5. Stir during cooking to combine flavors.
  6. Fifteen minutes before the cooking time is up, add the peas.
  7. Continue cooking until done, about 45 minutes to 1 hour.
