Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. butter or margarine
  • 1 pkg. Lipton onion soup mix
  • 1 loaf Italian bread

Instructions

  1. Soften the butter and mix in the Lipton onion soup mix.
  2. Cut the Italian bread almost all the way through, leaving the bottom intact.
  3. Spread the onion butter mixture between the bread slices and over the top.
  4. Wrap the bread in foil, leaving the top open.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 20 minutes.
