Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 2 tsp. margarine
  • 1 cup onions, chopped
  • 1/4 cup diced celery
  • 1 1/2 tsp. sage
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tsp. fresh parsley
  • 2 slices bread, cut into 1/2-inch cubes

Instructions

  1. Heat margarine until bubbly and hot.
  2. Add chopped onions, diced celery, and sage.
  3. Cook, stirring, until onions are golden, approximately 3 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat.
  5. Add chicken broth, parsley, bread cubes, and salt.
  6. Toss to combine.
  7. Transfer to a 1-quart casserole dish.
  8. Bake at 325°F for 30 minutes.
