Ingredients

  • 6 (1-inch) loin pork chops
  • 1/2 Tbsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. light brown sugar
  • 1 c. orange juice
  • 1 c. orange sections
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • 1/8 tsp. ground ginger

Instructions

  1. Coat the pork chops with flour and salt, then brown in oil for about 5 minutes on each side.
  2. Combine brown sugar, ginger, orange peel, and orange juice, then pour over the browned chops.
  3. Simmer for 45 to 50 minutes or until the meat is tender.
  4. Add orange slices and heat until the orange sections are just warm.
  5. Serve with orange rice.
