Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup orange juice and rind
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 pinch cream of tartar
  • 2 1/2 cups nuts (pecans or English walnuts)

Instructions

  1. Boil together orange juice, sugar, and cream of tartar to soft ball stage (234°F).
  2. Add nuts and beat immediately.
  3. Spread on waxed paper or foil and break apart as desired.
