Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 16 oz. can pumpkin
  • 1 tablespoon grated orange peel
  • 3 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon allspice
  • 2/3 cup orange juice

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat sugar, vegetable oil, and eggs.
  2. Stir in pumpkin and grated orange peel.
  3. Sift together flour, baking soda, salt, baking powder, and allspice.
  4. Add the dry ingredients to the pumpkin mixture and mix well.

  6. Pour the batter into a 12-cup Bundt pan.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 45 to 50 minutes.
