Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 cups Bisquick
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1 tablespoon grated orange peel
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon caraway seed

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
  3. In a large bowl, combine Bisquick, chopped walnuts, raisins, sugar, grated orange peel, and caraway seed.
  4. In a small bowl, beat milk and egg with a fork until well blended.
  5. Stir the liquid mixture into the dry ingredients just until blended.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  7. Bake for approximately 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before removing from the pan and serving.
