Ingredients

  • 4 cups bread cubes
  • 16 Oreo chocolate sandwich cookies
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Frozen yogurt or whipped cream (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix bread cubes and broken Oreo cookies in a large bowl; set aside.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk eggs, milk, sugar, melted butter, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Pour the custard mixture over the bread and Oreo mixture, stirring gently to combine.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes or until the top is golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
