Ingredients

  • 1 lb. catfish fillets
  • 2 Tbsp. light soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. grated fresh ginger
  • 1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes
  • 3 Tbsp. white wine or sherry
  • 1 Tbsp. sliced green onions

Instructions

  1. Make a marinade by mixing soy sauce, grated ginger, red pepper flakes, and white wine or sherry together.
  2. Marinate the catfish fillets in the mixture for about 1 hour in the refrigerator.
  3. Preheat the broiler.
  4. Broil the marinated catfish for approximately 5 to 7 minutes until the flesh starts to flake easily.
  5. Baste the catfish often with the marinade during broiling.
  6. Sprinkle sliced green onions over the fish before serving.
