- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add 1 teaspoonful of vegetable oil and brown the pork chops on both sides.
- Place the browned pork chops in a casserole dish.
- In a bowl, mix chopped onion, 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil, water, vinegar, chili sauce, brown sugar, dry mustard, and hot pepper sauce.
- Pour the mixture over the pork chops.
- Cover the casserole dish and bake for 40 minutes.
- Uncover and bake for an additional 20 minutes.
