Ingredients

  • 2 lb. steak (round), cut into cubes
  • 1 to 2 onions, diced
  • 2 cans mushroom soup
  • fresh or canned mushrooms (undrained)
  • 2 beef bouillon cubes

Instructions

  1. Layer the beef cubes, diced onions, mushroom soup, mushrooms, and beef bouillon cubes in a covered ovenproof dish or roaster.
  2. Bake in a preheated oven at 250°F (120°C) for 3 hours.
  3. After baking, stir in 8 to 12 ounces of sour cream.
  4. Serve the beef stroganoff over cooked noodles.
