Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped green onions
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped garlic
  • 2/3 cup Italian bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano

Instructions

  1. Saute olive oil, butter, green onions, and garlic until soft and clear.
  2. Blend in the bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, basil, and oregano.
  3. Place about 8 raw oysters in a serving dish.
  4. Pour the mixture over the oysters.
  5. Bake at 425°F for 15 minutes.
