Ingredients

  • 1 slab baby back ribs
  • 1 package Ranch dressing
  • 1 bottle squeeze butter
  • 1 package brown sugar
  • pepper
  • salt

Instructions

  1. Open the ribs package and turn the ribs bone side up.
  2. Peel off the thin layer of skin from the ribs.
  3. Spread Ranch dressing on the back side of the ribs.
  4. Place the ribs bone side up, then add salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Apply a generous amount of butter all over the back side of the ribs, using the whole bottle.
  6. Take a handful of brown sugar and sprinkle it over the ribs; repeat if you want more sweetness.
  7. Wrap the ribs in heavy-duty foil.
  8. Bake at 300°F (150°C) for 2 hours.
  9. Remove the foil, sprinkle a handful of brown sugar over the ribs.
  10. Cook uncovered for an additional hour.
  11. Optional: For grilling, brown the ribs on the grill for 30 minutes before wrapping in foil.
