Ingredients

  • 1 lb. cooked drained hamburger
  • 8 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 (15 1/2 oz.) can kidney beans, drained
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 4 medium tomatoes, diced
  • 1 pkg. taco seasoning (reserve 1 Tbsp.)
  • 1 (9 1/2 oz.) pkg. taco chips, crushed
  • 8 oz. Thousand Island dressing
  • 1/3 c. sugar

Instructions

  1. Layer cooked, drained hamburger, shredded Cheddar cheese, drained kidney beans, chopped onion, diced tomatoes, taco seasoning, and crushed taco chips over shredded lettuce.
  2. Mix Thousand Island dressing, sugar, reserved tablespoon of taco seasoning, and hot taco sauce.
  3. Pour the dressing mixture over the layered ingredients.
  4. Toss right before serving.
