Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. olive oil
  • 2 shallots, chopped
  • 1 c. fresh mushrooms, soaked in 1 c. water for 10 minutes
  • 1/4 c. dry sherry
  • 1 c. heavy cream
  • 2 c. tomato sauce
  • 1/4 c. fresh basil
  • salt
  • pepper

Instructions

  1. Saute shallots and olive oil until transparent.
  2. Add soaked mushrooms, sherry, cream, tomato sauce, and basil; stir.
  3. Simmer for 30 minutes.
  4. Pour over cooked pasta and serve.
