Ingredients

  • 1/2 tsp. shallots, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic, finely chopped
  • olive oil
  • 3 Gebhardt sausages, steamed until done and thinly sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, cut in strips
  • 1/4 lb. mushrooms, thinly sliced
  • 1 green onion, green part only, finely chopped
  • 1/4 c. white wine
  • 1/4 to 1/2 c. cream
  • salt
  • ground white pepper

Instructions

  1. Saute shallots and garlic in olive oil until softened, approximately 1 minute.
  2. Add steamed and sliced sausages and vegetables; sauté until al dente.
  3. Add white wine and cook until slightly reduced.
  4. Pour in cream and simmer until the sauce reaches desired consistency.
  5. Season with salt and ground white pepper to taste.
  6. Toss the sauce with cooked angel hair pasta and serve.
