Ingredients

  • 2 lb. lean ground beef
  • 2 c. cooked cubed potatoes
  • 2 c. grated carrots
  • 1 c. grated celery
  • 2 medium onions, grated
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 1/2 c. Pepperidge Farm dressing crumbs

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Remove excess fat from the cooked meat.
  3. Combine the cooked beef, cubed potatoes, grated carrots, grated celery, grated onions, cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, and beaten eggs in a large bowl.
  4. Mix in 1 cup of Pepperidge Farm dressing crumbs into the mixture.
  5. Transfer the mixture into a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
  6. Sprinkle an additional 1/2 cup of crumbs evenly over the top of the casserole.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 1 hour covered with foil.
  8. Uncover and bake for an additional 30 minutes until golden and bubbling.
