Ingredients

  • 2 cups sliced peeled peaches
  • 2 cups blueberries
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 2 tablespoons margarine
  • Pie crust for two crust pie

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine sliced peaches, blueberries, sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, and nutmeg; mix lightly.
  3. Spoon the fruit mixture into a pie crust-lined 9-inch pie pan.
  4. Dot the filling with small pieces of margarine.
  5. Cover with the second pie crust.
  6. Flute the edges and cut slashes in the top crust for ventilation.
  7. Sprinkle lightly with sugar on top.
  8. Bake for 50 to 60 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
  9. Serve warm or cooled, optionally with vanilla ice cream.
