- Drain peaches, reserving 1 cup of syrup.
- Cut up peaches and set aside.
- Crumble the sugar-nut mixture from the caramel rolls into a saucepan.
- Add flour, grated lemon peel, and 1/4 teaspoon salt to the saucepan.
- Stir in ginger ale and reserved syrup; mix well.
- Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened.
- Stir in butter until melted.
- Add peaches to the mixture and bring to a boil.
- Pour the mixture into an 8 x 8 x 2-inch baking dish.
- Immediately separate the caramel rolls and arrange them atop the hot mixture.
- Bake at 400°F until done, about 25 to 30 minutes.
