Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons salad oil
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup mashed peaches
  • 1 cup chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Grease and flour two loaf pans.
  2. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  3. Mix all ingredients until well combined.
  4. Beat on medium speed for 30 seconds.
  5. Pour mixture into the prepared pans.
  6. Bake for 55 to 65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Cool in pans for 5 minutes, then turn out to cool completely.
