Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated lemon rind
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 (9-inch) pastry shell
  • 2 cups sliced fresh peaches

Instructions

  3. Add flour and milk alternately to the mixture.

  7. Reduce the oven temperature to 350°F and bake for an additional 20 minutes.
