Tips & Substitutions

For a thicker sauce, increase the cornstarch to 3 tablespoons. If fresh peaches are available, substitute them for canned peaches; just peel and chop about 4 medium peaches. You can also swap the orange juice for lemon juice for a zesty twist. This sauce pairs wonderfully with desserts like Rum Glazed Pound Cake or Shredded Apple Cake.

Serving Suggestions

Serve this delicious peach sauce over vanilla ice cream, pancakes, or French toast for a delightful breakfast or dessert. It also makes a fantastic topping for pound cake or waffles. Try it alongside Maw Maw's Banana Pudding for a fruity dessert spread.

Storage & Reheating

Store any leftover peach sauce in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week. If you want to reheat it, simply warm it in a saucepan over low heat, stirring occasionally, until heated through. Avoid overheating to maintain the sauce's texture.
